I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!

Well, it has been awhile since I have blogged. However, I just have not felt that inspired about what I have bought. Of course I have bought a ton, and yes, I love everything that I have purchased, but nothing has made my heart pitter patter. That is until this morning when I received a notcard from Maitreya. They had created a new area called Maitreya Gold, and inside of this area was a shoe store. Now, I love shoes like any other woman in the world, and nothing finishes an outfit like a pair of shoes does. However, I am not one to drop 900 or more Linden on a pair of shoes. Yes, I shamefully admit that I only own one pair of Moody Stilletos, but what can I say, I have never justified the expense. The today my beliefs were thrown right out of the window as I layed my eyes on some of the cutest shoes I have seen in a very long time. I was not suprised that they were from Maitreya, since more than half of my shoes are from Maitreya, but I WAS SUPRISED. These shoes are beautiful. The detail in the design is awesome on its own, but when you throw those bad boys on, and are entertained by the best shoe hud ever, be prepared to need a seat. The hud has tons of selections for skin color and for toe nail color and sliders to make it perfectly custom to your skin. I plan to be back to this store to fill up on color selections and more designs soon.

Ooops, The Did it Again!

So, just when I think I have found the best of Truth’s new hair, they send out a new update with three new fashions. The first is Cheryl, which is a lovely pulled back loose side pony. It is absolutely adorable, but so not for me. Sadly, I do not have the forehead to pull off such a look. Luckily they introduced two other looks, Gisselle and Leah. Gisselle is a very full, very sophisticated pigtail creation. I am one for the pig tails, but I never thought I would be able to find a pigtail of this sophistication. Leah just might be my new favorite hair of the moment. A smooth collection of hair side parted into a very lose bun. A lovely flower compliments the hair as well. Leah is a look I can pair up with jeans and a shirt or dress up for a night on the town.

The Can Never Call Me Mellow Yellow

I do not know if I say it enough, but I just love the seasons, and all that they bring with them. Summer and its vibrant authority tops my list as my favorite season. The vibrant colors of Summer always seem to send me into a carefree and loving mood, and that is what just inspired what I like to call, “They can never call me mellow yellow!”
When I received an update card from Maitreya I absolutely fell in love with their newest creation named Mood. I purchased their peroxide collection, and these light and angelic shades of Blonde are the foundation of this entire outfit. There was absolutely nothing in my inventory that I could thing of that would go better with this mood then my Socialite Romper from Pink Outfitters. The clean lines and ribbing down the front compliment the delicate bow tied in the front. I had just purchased a lovely headband from Miel called The Tulip Headband, and I loved the way the soft violet and pink tones married with the bright yellow. As soon as I saw this marriage I knew that my new pink heels from Shiny Things. Gray tights, a heart necklace and wooden bangles completed the outfit with perfection.

Oh, How I Love My New Truth Hair!

I got an amazing note card recently. It was from Truth, and they were showcasing their new hairs. Now, I am going to be completely honest, I had never been a fan of Truth hair in the past. I rarely wear the few designs I have, and I have not been there in a long time. Well, let me tell you I am sitting here eating my words and my hair because these new designs are beautiful. The likeness to real hair and the detail is hands down on the spot.

Today, I headed out to Truth, and holy balls, this place was filled with a flock of woman adoring the newest collection of hairs. I ended up purchasing Stephanie in Lighter Blondes. Stephanie is long and sexy with a great side party. The movement and how each piece hangs leaves me never wanting to take this off, and wishing I had bought the fat pack!! The collection comes in an assortment of 4 colors; dune, mirage, platinum and seas spray. The perfect set for me!

The second purchase for me was the most adorable mermaid braid I have ever seen in Second Life. Your hair is lightly brushed to the side in a loose pony, and then it is braided down the front. Cute whisps make this this perfect pony for me. I also bought this in the collection of lighter blonde and it also came in the 4 colors; dune, mirage, platinum and seas spray.

Girlee Glee in The Creamshop

It’s Tuesday afternoon, and I am out doing what I usually do on Tuesdays, finding new jewelry, and all of a sudden I see this really cute Torso Dummy. Of course nosy me, I do a quick right click, and land on the profile of the creator, SAZAE Yoshikawa. Inside the picks of the profile, I come across a store that I should have known about. In fact, I am a bit disappointed in myself for never being here.
The store is called Creamshop. It lives inside a “fun house” sort of building, it is pouring rain outside and the thunder is loud. Inside, the store is filled with odds and ends. It has everything from home decorations to clothes to hair.

I of course head straight into the home decoration section because I am decorating a new home, that was way too big for my skybox furniture. I pick up the cutest item called Hanging Polaroid. It is a hanging string to display your snapshots inside of a Polaroid snapshot. There are pieces included, 2 prims a piece and 4 different types of ropes.

As a photographer, my next purchase is a set of cardboard boxes with 3 different poses and 5 boxes. Seeing this box prop just made my day since I had recently lose a similar prop that I had bought at Fishy Strawberry some time ago.

My final purchase in the home department is some party lights for my patio. I bought a set called Grape Lights, and it comes in a 3 color set. This is going to be the perfect addition to my living room balcony.

After loading up on home accessories, I head into the hair department. I start buying demos like crazy, but in the end decide to hold off on new hair since I currently have more hair then one can imagine.

Inside, the clothing department an array of color greats you, and your eyes fall in love with the colorful purses, umbrellas and rain boots that line that wall. Damn you summer, I want dress for fall! The clothing in this store, sure is cute. It is a kick back to retro with hand drawn textures. I pretty much wanted to buy everything. The midnight ponchos, colorful tights and beautiful dresses had me in a girlee glee!

I ended up walking out with the most adorable “Dalmatian” polka dot dress in pink, the gold dot skirt in black and $6L

Fairy Little Poses

My friend Mareabella Magic hired me on to be a photographer at Dance 4 Life Club in New York, and we were working on staff photographs and a party flyer for their grand reopening on July 3rd(see flyer at the end), and it suddenly came across to me that I was in some "over the top" need for new poses. It had been about six months since I had purchased poses, and I was done with the same old thing. So, I did what any young lady would do, I grabbed my lipgloss and my ATM, and I headed to LAP.[Long Ackward Pose]

LAP for me, is like candy to a child. I was in heaven!! I was dropping Linden like I was PDiddy, and accumulating quiet a seelction of poses. My favorite is a set called, Faery Goodness Pose Set. It comes with 9 sets of poses with a PR for each pose. I love the carefree and youthful selection of poses, and I know this is something I will use often in blogging about clothes and for photography work!
